Isawa Ikki - colour

I tried my hand again at painting, using the linework done by me and ~ Last-Seraph for her L5R RPG character, Ikki (or Natsume, as he was called after his Gempukku). I had this lying around and totally forgot about it, mainly because I couldn't find a background that would satisfy me... so I wound up, just adding the "Phoenix" Kanji and submitting anyway. Isn't he handsome?

What I like best: the shadows on the scroll. I don't know how, but I am proud of how I pulled them off, since I totally suck at shadowing.
